Healthy, Locally Raised Nucleus Colonies, Born in the Heart of Anglesey

Gentle temperament • Natural resilience • Sustainable beekeeping

At The Honey Herd, quality begins at the hive.

Our bees are raised with care on the island of Anglesey, following natural rhythms and locally adapted genetics.

Each nucleus colony is strong, balanced, and bred for:

  • Calm temperament

  • Steady productivity

  • Natural resilience in the Welsh climate

Perfect for both new and experienced beekeepers looking to grow healthy, thriving apiaries.

Availability Info

Nucleus colonies will be available for collection in Spring 2026 (weather dependent).
All colonies are inspected before release to ensure health & strength.
Due to our small-scale operation, supply is very limited and follows a first-come, first-served basis.
